E-commerce designed around your products
I design and build e-commerce websites for businesses and brands that need a clear catalogue and purchase journey. I work with Shopify or WooCommerce, choosing the platform around your products, operations and required integrations.
From browsing to choosing a product
An online store should help people find the right product, understand its features and conditions and complete their purchase. The project connects catalogue structure, product pages and checkout to the needs of your business.
- A new online store for an existing business.
- A redesign of an ageing e-commerce experience.
- Catalogues with categories, variants and content to reorganise.
- A review of product pages and the path to the cart.
Areas of work
Catalogue and product pages
Categories, agreed filters, variants and information hierarchy. Product photography, copy and data preparation are quantified in the scope.
Purchase experience
Mobile navigation, cart and checkout within the platform’s capabilities. Delivery, returns and payment information placed where it supports a decision.
Platform and launch
Shopify or WooCommerce configuration, agreed integrations and flow checks before launch. Subscriptions, fees and third-party services remain explicit.
Shopify or WooCommerce?
The choice starts with how you run the business. We assess day-to-day autonomy, catalogue, features, integrations and ongoing costs. The two platforms offer different approaches to customisation.
A migration also requires a map of URLs, content and data to transfer, reducing interruptions and broken links.
Previous projects
Xilita and Utopia Jewels are part of my e-commerce experience. Each new store starts with your catalogue, customers and sales model.
Before starting the project
Does a new online store guarantee sales?
No. The website is one part of the system: demand, offer, pricing, traffic, trust and operations affect sales. Building the store and acquiring customers need distinct plans.
Can you work on an existing shop?
Yes, after reviewing the platform, access, theme and integrations. We use that assessment to decide whether to improve the current site or plan a redesign.
Who prepares copy, photography and legal information?
The brief defines which materials are available and which need to be produced. Terms of sale, returns, privacy and other legal texts need input and review from qualified professionals.
Is support available after launch?
We can agree ongoing support with a defined scope, response times and cost. Hosting, platform, licences and support are itemised in the proposal.
